Not Just Fleurons.
Not Just Fleurons.
Overview
Overview
Not Just Fleurons is the culmination of my ISTD module, expressed through a key point of streetwear products: denim jeans, accompanied by a label with nods to statistics surrounding young male mental health, as well as a small poem connected to the overall gardening theme. This collection aims to champion the benefits of gardening for mental health, using fashion as a medium to spark important conversations and challenge societal norms around emotions.
My goal was to create a tangible and engaging piece that transcends traditional design boundaries, utilising streetwear to advocate for mental health awareness. It explores not just the practical benefits of gardening but also the profound metaphorical connections between nature’s cycles and human emotional resilience. Through these products, I sought to normalise discussions around mental health, offering a platform for self-expression and fostering a sense of community.
